BeschreibungAt our kick-off meeting with the client we discussed multiple options and decision was made to create a one-pager as this could also be read from top to bottom as a written invitation building up the information density from top to bottom. We started with the interaction design that showed all possible content templates, which could be added to the page. Within the individual templates we created different interaction patterns that allowed the user to access various forms of content, which could be anything from product information to local restaurant tipps. After the client and we were sure that we had taken all possibilities into consideration we began with the visual design, which was based on brand guidelines. After graduating from Cork Institute of Technology and University of applied science Darmstadt in 2007 I’ve been working in the field of UI Design and User Experience – first for agencies, later as a freelancer. I come from the classic web design days back in the early 00 years and have a strong frontend development background, but I do not code for clients anymore. Since the web got more and more complicated and task-based as well as information heavy one natural result was to take the step into thinking about the term ‘user centered and goal centered design’.
